Sorry there hasn't been a blog post in a few days. Things just get busy and by the time I have a chance to write a post, all sorts of things have gotten backed up. Then you get one of these miscellaneous life posts. Moppet picked lots and lots of flowers before, during, and after … Continue reading Bits and pieces

Blues Zig-Zag Crib Quilt (top)
This top is done. I've folded it and set it aside for now. Maybe tomorrow I'll start another top. After I accumulate a few completed tops I'll get the batting and backings all together and have a sandwich-pinning fest. The only other thing I'm working on today is the second bonnet/and-booties set in blue.

Sewing Room
We've spent the last two days doing some rearranging. The blue-green yarn featured I just picked up this afternoon! It took them 6 weeks to find and order it. Now I can finally start the sweater I said I was going to start back in May!

I still have many other items available in my shop, Cozy House Curios. I … Continue reading Recent items in the shop
Baby quilt continues
Today: adding a border, making the sandwich I think I will hold off on beginning the quilting. I have many other things to do and I haven't settled on a pattern yet.
Baby quilt

Now, however, the ironing board is kept in the craft room (and just the fact that we have a craft room still makes me … Continue reading Baby quilt
