Here is the newest doll, well, her head, anyway!

As soon as I saw the large boucle yarn on Weir Crafts a few weeks ago I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. I knew it would be perfect for textured hair. I had the coffee-colored knit fabric already which I used for a few smaller priest and nun dolls. (Speaking of which, I am WAY overdue to make another priest doll. I keep getting custom orders for little girl dolls so I’ve been making those instead.)

The earrings aren’t permanent. I just opened the rings and then tightened them on her ears. They look cute but I’m undecided. If I decide to keep them I need to create a tiny buttonhole of sorts or the fabric will develop holes.
