Joann’s is having a 50% off sale on a lot of their cotton and it was the perfect time to get dress fabrics. I’m making three dresses using the pattern above. I’ll make a cross between A and B, doing the sleeves without the notched “wings” on the cuffs. I even have all the notions (thread and zippers were on sale too!) so I’ll be ready to go as soon as the pattern arrives. The fabric is currently in the washer and I’ll be ironing for a while tomorrow (that’s a total of 15 yards… 😮). I’m very excited at the thought of having these dresses so I hope they work!

Note: this was actually Father’s idea since I was having zero luck shopping and he was so disgusted at the paltry offerings fashion-wise this year.
