The dress Take 2 is done and I'm wearing it now, but haven't really taken photos in it yet. You can still see her baby face here: Moppet gave Indy a lecture the other morning. "Don't scratch people. That's bad. If you don't scratch them, then they'll like you. Don't bite. That's bad. If you're … Continue reading Bits and pieces
This is the dress I made (at first) a size 18, adjusting it down to a 16 before the previous photos were taken. After making Dress take 2, I went back and deconstructed the majority of this dress (I kept the facings and buttons/buttonholes), cutting it down to a size 10 (the wrong size according … Continue reading Vintage Vogue V9000: take 1.2
This year the pan-Orthodox Vespers was hosted by St. Anthony the Great Orthodox Church (AOCANA) in Spring, TX. We had some doors open to catch the breeze and so when I had to stand on the porch with Mittens I could still see in, hear, and sing bits from memory. (Pictures 4-6 were my view.) And it was … Continue reading Tuesday night Canon of St. Andrew
Looking forward to seeing dear friends today! Moppet is over the moon. 😊 The order of the bookcases has rather disintegrated so I'm reordering them and dusting as I go. Just remember to keep the Pledge and the coffee separate.
