I’m thankful for God’s mercy. Good thing I’m not getting what I deserve instead.
I’m thankful for my husband. Words cannot express, so I won’t try.
I’m thankful for my children, who are turning out well in spite of my failings.
I’m thankful for my parish family. They welcomed us and care for us.
I’m thankful for my extended family. Despite me being the “black sheep” (or at least the “somewhat sooty sheep”) they still put up with me.
I’m thankful for the fact that I can walk, use my arms and legs without pain, see, and hear. Parenthetically, I’m thankful for hearing aids and glasses.
I’m thankful that we have not only enough, but abundantly more than we need.
I’m thankful that we live in a country where we can go to church without fear of prison, express ourselves even if someone doesn’t like it, and move freely.
I’m thankful for all of my friends, who support me and from whom I learn so much.
May the Lord have mercy on us and bless us, this day and every day!
Lovely post, and we are thankful for you, our amazing daughter!
