At long last I have photos of the completed Amira sweater! It was fun to make and I learned a few things in the process. I think this would be a great sweater to make yourself (or someone else) if you don’t have a lot of sweater-knitting experience, but it’s more than interesting enough for an experienced knitter. It’s very well written and easy to follow. You can see more details about the sweater and purchase the pattern here [Edit: I no longer support Ravelry by linking to them]. My friend Ranee, the pattern designer and owner of Arabian Knits, gave me the pattern in exchange for documenting the creation process. You can see my previous posts about it here and here.
That is a beautiful sweater! I love the color and the fit. (And YOU are beautiful in it!!!)
