We’re about to get some seriously torrential rain here. In parts south this band is producing rain rates of 5+ inches an hour. The lightning is getting closer and the thunder nearly continuous. We’ve gotten 7 inches of rain today and a little while ago I put out an empty bucket to see what accumulations we would get with this line of storms.

I’m waiting to put the little ones to bed until things settle down. In the meantime I’m watching the radar and knitting a miniature blanket.
