Traditionally flowers and fragrant herbs are brought to church to be blessed on the feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos. Though we celebrated Vespers for the feast, we are unable to access our church during the morning on weekdays and so attended St. Joseph’s for Liturgy. So our parish would be able to participate in this tradition Father  had the blessing today. We brought roses.
