Last night Miss Moppet came to Vespers prepared. She had “written” some “sheet music” and put it on a music stand as soon as one was opened for her. Then she spent the first 10 minutes of Vespers singing with the choir. ❤

Love it! Wish the toddlers in my parish were as prepared when they come over to the choir. Instead, we have to watch that they not knock over everything, and we used to have one who’d obstinately lick and/or gum the feet of the music stands and we’d have to watch not to step on the kid.

Ew! Well, Mittens crawled around the stand every time I looked away for a moment. She really wanted to experiment with yanking it down on her head but she was thwarted.
