We have had a delightful weekend visiting with out-of-state friends! We went to the Houston Children's Museum Saturday and it was a big hit. After Vespers we ate and played at our house, and visited again this morning at and after Liturgy. We're so glad they made the trip!

Last Sunday after coffee hour the children decorated the parish Christmas tree. Our Miss Moppet was chosen to put the angel on the top. It wasn't easy for Ken to hoist her up there, and the angel almost took flight, but they managed it in the end.
Sunday I finally got a chance to photograph the carved chalice and diskos at our parish, as well as take more detailed photos of the royal doors. The same person hand-carved all of them.
