Last Saturday our parish had its fall picnic. The weather was very cooperative although our parish council president and griller would have preferred the breeze to blow from a different quarter.

Everyone, the children especially, enjoyed the park grounds and seeing the dozens of turtles swimming up to us on the bridge.

It was great to visit with everyone in different surroundings and I think a good time was had by all.
