I had a few friends suggest demand that I make some miniature censers as Christmas ornaments, so I finally complied. I made the prototype today and jotted down the pattern. They're now in the shop! Here's a comparison of the regular toy censer (left) with the censer ornament (right):

Baby pictures!!
30 weeks and 5 days today! Everything is going well and she's moving constantly. I got to see her stretching and yawning (and shaking her head) on the ultrasound this morning. (That's the umbilical cord photobombing the picture of her foot.)
It’s Christmas in the shop!

Praying with my hands…
Five hearts left to quilt on this baby quilt and my finger tips have taken on the familiar rough texture unique to quilting. This quilt isn't set aside for a particular baby, nor is it destined for the shop. This quilt (when finished) will be auctioned online as part of an effort to help provide … Continue reading Praying with my hands…
Two!
Below is one of the last truly happy photos we have of her during the party. It's hard to be two. Miss Moppet was really impressed with her doll carriage. So much so that she wanted to get in herself. And was prevented: She blew the candle out halfway through "Happy Birthday to You", so … Continue reading Two!
