Miss Moppet’s first communion was this morning! It was so wonderful to be at Liturgy again! The forty days are necessary and good, but I’m always ready to go back when they’re done.
We were so blessed to have her godparents with us this Sunday: Matushka Mary and Deacon Ephraim.
In fact, Father was positively delighted to be serving with a deacon again! We think this is the first time this parish has had a deacon serve.
The girls wanted to take turns holding the baby during Liturgy, of course.
Look at those sweet little hands. 🙂

What wonderful pictures! Hate to have missed today, but we brought our new little Sophia home yesterday, so it's been Baby Time over here too. The dress was fantastic.
Btw, we did have a deacon serve one other time that I know of, when the Bishop (acting? pro tem?) visited several years ago.
