Light posting lately; I’ve just been busy. There’s homeschool, of course, plus I managed to finally write out crochet patterns for several miscarriage cross blankets and post them on Lost Innocents
. That took several hours since I’m not experienced at writing patterns. I also want to contribute some blanket sets to You are my Child
, a project to put together boxes for hospitals to give to bereaved families of first and second trimester babies. So far I’ve crocheted two matching blankets and need to back them with flannel. I want to make a few sets before mailing them off.
Tomorrow is the feast of the Exaltation of the Cross. This afternoon I’ll be doing the flowers around the cross. Since I remember someone wanting to know how I went about doing that, I’ll try to remember to take pictures as I go and post it later. It’s really not hard. Really.
