While I was posting this, Father, independently, was writing his own post. When I read it I shrieked because it fit the video perfectly. So, he added the video to his post and I’m adding the quotation to mine:

Brilliant! I love that film. When I was working in Moscow, we had the students stage it as part of their English language training, and I was one of the directors, so I have that movie totally memorized!! The Russian guy that played the Cary Elwes part was devastatingly funny–just perfect comedic timing, even in a non-native language. It was so funny!

Hearing the dialogue in Russian would have been fun. What a neat experience.
In my younger days (15 years ago) I got to hear Mandy Patinkin in concert. He is the consummate entertainer, so the whole performance was wonderful. But the most memorable moment was when he delivered the classic “Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya…” line.

WE LOVE THE PRINCESS BRIDE!!! 🙂 The quotes come up frequently in everyday life around here… they just describe so many situations so well! 🙂
