(Belated) 1,000 post celebration blog giveaway!

(Ok, so it’s post 1,009 but I’m close.)

To celebrate 1,000 funny, odd, esoteric, weird, pious, boring, sad, exciting, and commonplace posts, I am giving away this lovely crib-sized single Irish chain quilt!

The top is made of all-cotton, up-cycled sheeting and the backing is a cotton-poly blend. The batting is polyester.

It’s machine pieced and quilted and the border is hand-sewn.

The dimensions are approximately 30 inches by 34 inches.

It’s blue and white, which suggests boy, but the delicate colors and the lovely little floral print wouldn’t be inappropriate for a girl. Keep it for yourself or give as a gift.

You have lots of chances to enter! Here they are:

  1. Leave a comment in the box.
  2. Follow this blog (or leave a separate comment reminding me that you do).
  3. Post about this giveaway on your own blog or page (leaving a separate comment with the link).
  4. Put the button for Lost Innocents OR Hand Crocheted Blessings somewhere on your blog/site (or leave a separate comment reminding me that you do). The codes for the buttons are available in the sidebar. Each button counts for one entry so leave a comment for both if you post both.

Each comment counts as one entry so be sure to put everything in separate comments!

The winner will be chosen by random number selection at noon, CST on September 28th, 2011. In the event that the winner does not respond by October 5th, 2011, then another random number drawing will be held and an alternate winner selected.

Note: I will ship free of charge anywhere in the continental US or Canada unless you are willing to pay for shipping somewhere else.

  1. Beautiful, you do lovely work! Also, did you peek into my bedroom? I was reading your post from last week on keeping the rest of the house clean and had to laugh at how my house vs. bedroom are much like yours.

  2. This is my first visit to your blog… Reading your “about me” and other materials, this won't be my last visit! What you say makes me smile. I love what you've shared about “praying with your feet.” I think that's so true… when we live for others, we are indeed praying, lifting up our lives to God. Thanks for sharing this!
