…I’m actually creating a blog award. Isn’t that a hoot?
Inspired by my own post, and yes, I know how pathetic that sounds, I’ve decided to create the “Keepin’ it Real” award. This is for bloggers who share glimpses of their real life even when it’s not magazine-perfect. Not that you have to be that way all the time, just on occasion.

Praying With My Feet 
I love this idea. I often get down that the house isn't clean, the kids are being wild, and I am running around like a chicken without a head not knowing what to do first. It defianetly helps to see that not everyone is picture perfect.

Some people can look at beautiful, uplifting blogs and be inspired, cheered and uplifted – all the time. I am not one of those lovely souls and get depressed sometimes when comparing my unorganized, imperfect life to the perceived perfection on some blogs. I KNOW that the people who have those blogs aren't perfect! And I heartily enjoy looking at beautiful things. But sometimes I need some company in my imperfection. (:

Enjoy! I saw you already passed it along to Alana – great! There were so many of you wonderfully imperfect people (grin) that I had a hard time choosing the first one. My hats are off to all of the real women who keep truckin' on!

You must have never seen my post about my husband and I eating our “dinners” out of canned vegetables- cold and still in the can. lol. Hey, at least I opened the can for him. 😉
