It’s BIG.  Each one of the small squares is slightly smaller than my hand.  It needs some patching (no pun intended) and a good wash but it looks like it would be perfectly fine to quilt.  I examined it and noticed that it had started out being a crib/twin-size quilt and had blocks added on.  Very interesting.
