Rod Dreher sent out a query: What books are on your nightstand? His results were impressive. Mine are a bit humbling. But I’ll defend Pooh – very funny and relaxing right before sleep.
In case you can’t read it, the last is “The Last Plantagenets” by Thomas B. Costain.
Very scary, Matushka! I've read four of the five, all but the Eco, and own two of them, HP and World of Pooh. In fact, I read Eco's The Name of the Rose, so perhaps a half point should be awarded there.
Btw, your blog is such a pleasure. Since I hardly ever get to see y'all, its a nice way to get to know your family.

Nice to have you along! I'm glad you're enjoying it. Try Eco's “How to Travel With a Salmon”. I think you'd like it.
